combination of exquisite Lanna architecture, fine Thai
cuisine, and exhibits of Northern Thai art, "The Gallery"
is the perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment
during a stay in Chiang Mai. Set in a 100 year-old teak
wood house on the bank of the Ping River, "The Gallery"
with our terraced garden restaurant, is the ideal setting
for groups, meeting and grand ceremonies, as well as for
the couple desiring a quiet meal. We prepare special menus
and buffets featuring fine Thai food at reasonable prices.

About the Gallery
The structure currently known
as "The Gallery" was built in 1892 by the grandfather
of the current owner/managing director, Surachai Leosawasthiphong.
The grandfather, an immigrant from China, married a Chiang
Mai woman on whose property the structure was built. The
site was initially the family store which sold cotton
silk and household items. Customers could enter from the
street or from the special pier on the river. Surachai's
family used the structure as the family home until 1978,
when they moved to a new house and created the Gallery
Restaurant.

View is proud to introduce a special menu with over 30 extra
dishes bringing our existing menu to an extensive 150 dishes.
From 6 p.m. onwards, sit and enjoy your meal on the various
terraces of the Good View sampling a selection of succulent
dishes.
