Anyone who has heard of the world famous Spa Resorts will know it as a wellness retreat that revives, regenerates and cleanses the body, mind and spirit. Based on the writings of Dan Reeds' The Dow of Detox, their colonic cleansings and fasting routines have proven results of weight loss and improved health. Through these and other wellness treatments, people can learn self maintenance and start to take responsibility for their own health. Spa Resorts can be found on Koh Samui, which is where it all started in 1992 by Guy Hopkins, Koh Chang and soon in Chiang Mai.
The Spa Chiang Mai Resort will be a wellness retreat with a healthy lifestyle investment and retirement community known as the Residences. Most of those who have purchased the two and three bedroom villas, including such names as former world famous supermodel, Sunny Griffin, intend to make it their retirement abode. Townhouse owners have purchased primarily for the promising investment opportunity with the prospect of having their residence paid for in as little as six years. Thirty two deluxe hotel rooms will also be available.
There are still six two bedroom houses available which by the sound of things, won't be there for long. Fractional ownership is available allowing owners to spend a given amount of time at the property while receiving income revenue for the remainder of the year. Sounds like a great investment opportunity that many others have already jumped aboard.
Special features to this property are the rivers that will flow from a lake at the top of the hill down around each person's property flowing to a pond where it is then pumped back to the top again through a series of underground pipes. And due to (and oddly echoing) the special needs of the colonic cleansing clients, water filtration systems have been placed not only at the water source itself, but at each house, making water free of any bacteria, full of minerals and ready to drink straight from the tap.
The world class restaurant (for those not undergoing a colon cleanse) will feature organic vegetarian food prepared by top chefs. The soft opening is scheduled for December 15th. This is a place definitely worth coming to check out. Follow the signs past the Prem Center.
