Found on the bustling Moon Muang Road, this interesting little place, run by a friendly and welcoming Thai couple, is full of enticements, especially those with farang taste buds. A large selection of homemade ice creams greet you on your way through the door and with their large variety of flavours like rosella, adzuki bean and banana cashew nut caramel coffee. This goes for the display bursting with beautiful hand made chocolates imported from Belgium. Chocolate lovers will be thrilled with the selection including lychee, white chocolate and dark chocolate filled with ganache. The owner also bakes up an assortment of cakes including a lemon cheesecake which is simply divine. They also serve a variety of western and Thai dishes as well as pizza from Naples Pizzeria. The design elements are attention grabbing and include a lot of wood features to create a forest type atmosphere. Upstairs are two private rooms and one shared room which not only include new comfortable furnishings, but also cable tv, air con and balconies overlooking the moat. At 150 baht per person, it’s definitely a steal. The family’s grandmother is close by for anyone wanting to indulge in a foot or body massage.
