| You don't bargain in shopping malls, nor do you usually bargain in restaurants. In the night bazaar of course, prices there can change dramatically. Everyone wants to know what price is best but you'll never find out so just pay what YOU think is a good price. For tuk-tuk you can usually get the price down a bit but not too much, in red cars there's a 15 baht set price for short trips but for a long trip the driver may ask for more, here you can bargain. In most shops in Thailand if you buy many goods the price will down. |
