Choosing a hospital

Remember that all the hospitals charge different prices and some can be extremely expensive while over charging on medicine you could buy round the corner at a chemists for a quarter of the price. It's better to have insurance, check BUPA Thailand and see the different classes of insurance you can get. If you don't have insurance remember the private clinics can be quite good and cheap. It's better to ask around where local expats go when they're sick. If you are diagnosed with something serious, always get a second opinion as some hospitals have been known to be wrong.
