Staying Cool

We don't need to tell you that Thailand is very hot, but if this is your first summer you might be somewhat surprised at the heat. You should drink at least a litre of water a day in the summer. When you go outside then try to wear a hat and cover most of your body. It's better to wear cotton if you can. Air-con uses a lot of electricity so why not try and keep your house cool by keeping the shades drawn over the windows during the day or using the fan a bit more.
